IMPLEMENTASI PROBLEM BASED LEARNING DENGAN PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK DALAM PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA KELAS IV SD

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas IV SD melalui implementasi Problem Based Learning (PBL) dengan pendekatan saintifik. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) kolaboratif yang dilakukan bersama guru kelas IV SDN Ciantra 02 dan dilaksanakan selama 3 siklus. Adapun subjek penelitian ini melibatkan 31 siswa SDN Ciantra 02 tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, tes, dan dokumentasi. Data-data yang telah terkumpul kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data menurut miles & huberman meliputi tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Problem Based Learning dengan pendekatan saintifik dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas IV SD.

Abstract


This study aims to improve the critical thinking skills of fourth grade elementary school students through the implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL) with a scientific approach. This research is a collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted with the fourth grade teacher at SDN Ciantra 02 and carried out for 3 cycles. The subject of this research involves 31 students of SDN Ciantra 02 for the 2020/2021 academic year. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using data analysis techniques according to Miles & Huberman including the stages of data reduction, data display, conclusion, and verification. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of Problem Based Learning with a scientific approach can improve the critical thinking skills of fourth grade elementary school students.
