A good control of WWTP processes could lead to better water quality and to an efficient use of energy. The problem is many of the WWTPs are operated in a less than optimal, causing high costs and inefficient operations. Clean production comes to be an alternative in optimizing WWTP process. The objectives of this research are to identify the inefficiency factors of electric energy, chemical usage, and clean water consumption then examine the efforts to increase opportunity for efficiency and also to calculate the value related to the cleaner production. To overcome the inefficiency of electric energy by adjusting the process unit capacity with the influent waste water. Chemical consumption inefficiency is overcome by optimizing formulas. And water clean consumption inefficiency is overcome by reuse effluent from WWTP for general cleaning. The amount of potential efficiency of the electric energy usage is 55.440 KWH or Rp 86.153.760/year, for chemical usage 11.412 L/year or Rp 76.080.000 /year, and clean water usage is 903.450 L/year or Rp 5.872.425/year
